She swapped Hollywood fame for the British aristocracy, but could Meghan Markle have both?
A new report claims her old show, Suits, want the Duchess of Sussex back for one last episode – and they’ll make a huge, multi-million dollar donation to her favourite charity if she agrees.
An insider told The Mirror that NBC Universal want Meghan to make a final cameo as Rachel Zane, and they’re willing to come to the UK to shoot the scenes. They’ve even said her pregnancy bump could be written in as part of her storyline.
Executives apparently said: “We could be done in half a day or less.
“No final figure has yet been arrived at but negotiations are likely to be opened in the very near future. I’ve heard sums ranging from two to six million being kicked around and that sounds a lot – but it would be one of the biggest marketing coups in TV history.”
Another source added: “This is all supposed to be hush-hush but it’s a bit of an open secret that they’d do anything to get her and Patrick back as guest stars. I think the fans would love to see Rachel and Mike – even fleetingly – in their new life together as husband and wife.”
It’s also been confirmed that Meghan, 37, is still a member of the actors’ union, SAG-AFTRA, the American version of Equity.
In fact, the union have confirmed she’s in “good standing”, and has paid her dues in advance to cover her membership until next year.

Twitter buzzed with the rumour, with fans divided over whether the new royal would agree to do it. Most seemed to think it was unlikely,
with one blasting: “This should not be allowed. Meghan gave up her professional acting career along with her social media accounts. In my opinion, if this goes ahead, it cheapens the Royal ‘brand’.”

Others insisted there wasn’t any chance, with one blasting: “What’s in it for her? NOTHING!” Another wrote: “No she won’t she’s now royal gold……. It’s beneath her.”
A fourth added simply: “She won’t.”
The former actress played the starring role of Rachel on Suits for six years from 2011, until she quit in 2017 to marry Prince Harry, 34.
Her final scenes aired in April, less than a month before the royal wedding. She left, alongside her good friend and co-star, Patrick J. Adams, who played Mike Ross.
