It’s usually a case of “copy Kate” with people clamouring to replicate outfits worn by the Duchess Of Cambridge.
But Ruth Langsford has joked she got there first with her recent choice of dress for a special occasion!
The Loose Women presenter wore a pale blue shift dress and matching side angled fascinator when she proudly went to the Palace with husband Eamonn Holmes at the start of June, where he was awarded an OBE.

Then at the weekend, Kate wore similar attire as she attended the Trooping The Colour.
Noting the similarities in their outfit choices, Ruth shared images of them side-by-side with her Instagram followers on Wednesday with the caption: “Great minds think alike…..!!!”
Ruth, 58, revealed that her dress was by Goat, while her fascinator was by Jenny Packham – one of the Duchess’ favourite designers.
Meanwhile, 36-year-old Kate’s dress was designed by another of her favourite labels, Alexander McQueen, and her fascinator was created by milliner, Juliette Botterill.

Ruth’s fans commented to say both she and the royal mother-of-three looked amazing in their almost matching outfits.
“You both look stunning,” wrote one. “Both ladies look lovely,” said another.
Others joked that Kate must have taken some style tips from the This Morning presenter.
“Kate was obviously spying on you at the Palace lol,” wrote one.
“She copied you lol,” said another.
Ruth was delighted to accompany Eamonn to Buckingham Palace a fortnight ago, where he was honoured for his services to broadcasting.
The proud wife had previously shared an image of them from the day, dressed up to the nines ready to meet the Queen.
She captioned the image: “Off to the Palace! SO proud of my husband @eamonnholmes who will receive his OBE for services to broadcasting today… nobody deserves it more #proudwife #obe #eamonnholmes.”

Meanwhile, Kate was at the palace on Saturday for Trooping The Colour, where she joined the rest of the royal family on the balcony to watch a fly-past.
She was joined by two of her children – Prince George and Princess Charlotte – who were entertained by their second cousin Savannah Phillips.
It was Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex’s first balcony appearance following her wedding to Prince Harry in May.
She also stepped up her royal duties on Thursday by attending her first engagement alongside the Queen.
