Queen Camilla is reportedly concerned for King Charles amid his health.
The royal family have faced a distressing time in recent months, after both King Charles and his daughter-in-law, the Princess of Wales, were diagnosed with cancer.
It is no surprise that Queen Camilla has her own worries about King Charles returning to his royal duties. The King made his return to public facing duties today (April 30) as he visited the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre.
Apparently, the monarch hopes to be attending more of his usual public duties by June.
Queen Camilla ‘worries’ for King Charles
According to Bella Magazine, the King has the desire to attend the Royal Ascot and Trooping the Colour, but Queen Camilla isn’t convinced.
It has probably been a bit of a conflict, she probably wanted to run around in her slippers and take care of him.
Royal expert Jennie Bond has weighed in on the topic. She told Bella Magazine: “Camilla will do her best to persuade Charles to take things gently. They are a very loving couple, and she will feel hugely protective of him.”
Jennie continued: “She also knows her husband, and she knows that his work is important to him, now more than ever, with his role as King rather than heir.
“It has probably been a bit of a conflict, she probably wanted to run around in her slippers and take care of him but they both have this big job to do for the monarchy and they have to get on with it.”
