Social media has erupted with the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly travelled to Ibiza on their first holiday as a family of three via private jet.
The backlash comes after Prince Harry opened up about saving the planet by only having two children with his wife Meghan Markle.
Speaking about climate change, he told the September issue of Vogue, which was guest-edited by his wife: “I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed.
“And, surely, as intelligent as we all are, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation.”

He added: “People always say, there is nature, then there is us. But we are part of it. Unless we acknowledge we are part of this cycle, we’re always going to be fighting against it.
“Inevitably, because we’re so good at destruction, we’ll end up winning and nature might end up losing.”
Now it has been reported that, after making his barefoot speech at Camp Google in Sicily, Harry, Meghan and baby Archie enjoyed a week-long trip to Ibiza.

I think Meghan and Harry are living in a Hollywood bubble that is about to explode – don’t preach at us and then hop on a private jet. I’ve no time for either of them! #ecoevaders

Hypocrites, Harry and Megan please don’t lecture us ever again about saving the planet!

Others didn’t seem too worried about the royal couple using a private jet.

Friends Of The Earth spokesman Aaron Kiely said: “The Duke of Sussex speaks wonderful and stirring words on the environment and then he flies off on holiday to a European destination in a private jet.”
He added: “He could have taken a train and then a boat. This would have been the perfect opportunity to set an environmental example.”
