Meghan Markle has been used by weight loss product scammers online.
The Duchess of Sussex’ images and false quotes are being used on online ads to sell potentially dangerous weight loss pills.
The bogus online campaigns use pictures of Meghan before and after she gave birth to baby Archie, and are being billed as “Keto Weight Loss” pills.
One ad claims that the pills helped the Duchess lose weight and even says she is “obsessed over her weight”.

While another ad, on the website ‘First Level Fitness’, uses this fake quote: “Post pregnancy my body had lost its shape. But, with keto body tone, I came back.”
And a second website has been discovered, that uses further bogus quotes.
The site states that Meghan said the following to the made up publication: “All my life I’ve been passionate about taking care of my weight due to the pressures of Hollywood to stay young and look fit.

“For the last 10 years I’ve been travelling the world and sourcing organic ingredients and weight loss remedies.
“The culmination is the launch of my all-female-owned weight loss line which combines the world’s richest and most sought after ingredients at affordable and everyday prices.”
And astonishingly, the fake advertorial even makes reference to Markle’s alleged rift with the Royal family.
According to the Sunday Mirror, the Palace is working towards having these adverts removed.
A source told the paper: “This is obviously not true and an illegal use of the Duchess’ name for advertising purposes. We will follow our normal course of action.”

Of course Markle has not mentioned her weight or weight loss since she embarked on her relationship with Harry in July 2016.
Before that she had promoted healthy eating and exercise on her lifestyle blog, The Tig, which is now defunct.
Entertainment Daily have reached out to representatives for the Duchess of Sussex for comment.
