The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reported to be considering relocating to the United States – and spending most of their time there.
It was reported last week that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hope to spend Thanksgiving in Los Angeles with baby Archie, taking six weeks off from their public duties for some “family time” ahead of Christmas at Sandringham in Norfolk.
The Sunday Times also claimed Harry is keen on moving out of the UK permanently, with Cape Town in South Africa tipped to be a possible base for his and Meghan’s young family.
However, The Sun reckons California now has the edge on being a secondary base for the couple – and royal aides are reported to be concerned the move could lead to an “official exit” from the wider royal family.

An anonymous royal insider is quoted as saying: “There’s an acceptance that things haven’t worked out with the Sussexes full-time in Windsor so they could have a second base in America.”
A spokeswoman for the Sussexes did not comment on plans for any move Stateside to the tabloid.
Things haven’t worked out with the Sussexes full-time in Windsor.
However, a source said to be close to them is reported to have told the newspaper: “The Duke and Duchess will be taking some family time towards the end of the year, once their diary commitments are done.
“We are unsure at this time but it will likely be spent between the UK and US. Any further inference on their plans is pure speculation.”

It was previously reported that Harry and Meghan would like to build a bush lodge in Botswana, where Harry recently visited as part of their African tour.
An unnamed source was quoted as saying the traditional accommodation – as well as a school – would be constructed by workers in Botswana in order to give local trade a boost.
Over the weekend it was reported that Harry and Meghan are due to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in person for the first time since claims of a ‘rift’ surfaced between the two brothers.
However, there is some speculation that both Princes could be present in Japan next weekend for the Rugby World Cup final between England and South Africa ahead of the Remembrance Sunday event.
