Fresh from their private jet storm, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have proved that they’re just like you and me after all by heading to the pub for lunch.
After they courted controversy by using four private jets in just 11 days to head to Ibiza and the South of France, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have settled down for a low-key £15 lunch at a traditional village pub.
According to The Sun, the pair holed up at the aptly-named Rose & Crown in the village of Winkfield, near Windsor in Berkshire, with their three-month-old son.
And onlookers said that baby Archie was “as good as gold” during his trip to the pub.
It’s claimed Meghan and Harry enjoyed a two-hour lunch, with doting mum Meghan “cradling Archie most of the time”.

The onlooker said: “The little lad was as good as gold, I didn’t hear him cry once while he was there.”
The family lunch comes after reports that Harry and Meghan have hired a third nanny in as many months for baby Archie.
However, the new nanny – who reportedly accompanied them on their recent trip to Sir Elton John’s villa in Nice – was nowhere to be seen over lunch.
Instead, the young family went largely unnoticed and were accompanied by two royal protection officers.

Harry was seen enjoying a couple of pints of beer with his lunch, while new mum Meghan is thought to have stuck to water.
The onlooker added: “After the controversy they have been attracting they were getting their feet back on the ground with pub grub like millions of ordinary folk – and it was nice to see.”
They added that Harry and Meghan – who married in May 2018 and became parents to baby Archie on May 6 this year – “were laughing a lot” and “chatted away like any normal couple”
The trip to the pub comes after it was claimed that the Queen said no to Meghan and Harry’s request to move into Windsor Castle following their nuptials last year.
