As we enter 2019, many of us will be coming up with New Year’s resolutions. Some of us may even stick with them for more than a week.
But a new report claims that Prince Harry doesn’t have to figure his out – because his wife, Meghan, has already decided for him. And it’s going to be a dry year for the royal who has apparently given up booze!
In fact, he’s started his new healthier attitude early, as an insider close to the royal couple told the Express they noticed the change over Christmas at the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
The source said: “Considering he’s been a pretty brutal drinker since he was a young teenager, it’s quite an achievement. He was always fidgeting and on the go, always looking for the next thrill. He was a great laugh but it was always very full on.”
Meghan, 37, is known for her love of health and fitness – her mum, Doria Ragland, is a yoga instructor. Meanwhile Harry, 34, was notorious in his youth for getting into trouble, thanks to his partying habits.
In fact, he later said he was close to a “complete breakdown” after years behaving like “a typical 20, 25, 28-year-old running around going, ‘Life is great’, or, ‘Life is fine’.”
The source adds: “Now his new regime doesn’t make him the most entertaining party guest in the world, but he’s definitely more chilled and relaxed.
And it was all Meghan’s idea says the friend, who claims: “All she did was show him there’s another way to live and he’s become a huge fan. He eats well, doesn’t poison his body, exercises, does a bit of yoga and is a lot happier.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who are expecting their first child in the spring – will apparently be drinking water at their New Year celebrations instead.

Harry and Meghan’s first year as a married couple has been fairly bumpy – mostly for the former Suits actress, who has been hounded by embarrassing and indiscreet family giving interviews about her.
Around Christmas, her half-sister, Samantha Markle attracted headlines, first when she released the Christmas card she was sending Meghan, begging for a reconciliation with their father Thomas, 74.
The second time was when she reportedly went on a Twitter rant, calling the new royal “heartless” and “hurtful.”

We’re sure Harry will feel great for giving up his bad habits. That’s if he sticks to it…
