The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is reportedly ‘struggling to cope’ with the level of public scrutiny and negativity she has faced in recent months.
The new mum, 37, was said to be feeling ‘miserable’ following a barrage of negative comments online after husband Prince Harry appeared to ignore her at a baseball game.

A source quoted by Closer said: “Meghan’s at an amazing point in her life, being a new mum and enjoying royal life. But she can’t understand what’s behind all the poisonous comments about her marriage.
“She’s struggling to cope with this ongoing public backlash and it’s confusing for her, especially after the positive reaction when they first got together. It’s making her feel quite miserable.”
Earlier this month, Harry and Meghan attended a Major League Baseball game in London – the first ever played in the UK – between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees.
During the game, the camera panned to a smiling Meghan – and appeared to catch Harry ignoring her.
At one point, Meghan was seen trying to talk to her husband, but the Duke was deep in conversation with a pal and didn’t acknowledge her, so Meghan turned back to the game.
One user on Twitter remarked: “Is it my imagination or is Harry ignoring her?”
It follows Meghan’s recent appearance at a charity polo match that pitted Harry and his brother Prince William against each other on opposing teams.
The Duchess looked happy and relaxed with baby Archie, although some royal fans seemed to think she needed lessons in holding the tot correctly.
One said: “Meghan needs to learn how to hold a baby properly!”
Another agreed, commenting: “She needs lessons how to hold her baby.”
A third added: “Yes I definitely agree; she looks like she’s holding a bag of potatoes.”
“She looks totally out of her depth,” typed one more, while another said: “She needs someone to show her how to hold a baby.”

Over the weekend, Harry and Meghan joined pal Beyoncé and her rapper husband Jay Z at the UK premiere of The Lion King.
It was the Duchess’ first red carpet evening since having baby Archie at the beginning of May.
