The Duchess of Sussex took tips from a US expert of manners prior to her big move to the UK, it has been reported.
Edmund Fry, etiquette expert and owner of the Rose Tree Cottage of Pasadena, California, claims Meghan enlisted him for a two hour class in etiquette.
Edmund told the Daily Mail that Meghan did not have ‘love for England’ when she walked through the doors of his quaint tea rooms, but she was a converted after her prepping.
“She enjoyed it so much that she wanted to come back,” Edmund said.

He also alluded that Meghan sought out his help as she knew she would soon be having tea with the Queen:
“They [younger generation] come to us mainly to find out, ‘What should we do, as we are having this social event?
“The same sort of thing happened with Meghan. She knew she would be having tea with the Queen.”
He added that her reservation was made under her friend’s name, to protect her privacy.

In an interview earlier this year for the Sun Online, Edmund elaborated on Meghan’s visit.
He said she was “beautifully dressed” and even enjoyed trying out sticky toffee pudding.
Describing her as “very nice,” he also predicted she would fit in well with the royals.
“I think she’s going to fit in very well with royal life – she’s an actress and she knows how to act and how to behave,” he said.
