Prince Charles is reported to be “absolutely furious” over the suggested ‘rift’ between Prince William and Prince Harry, a newspaper report has claimed.
The Sun reckons the heir to the throne believes an alleged growing distance between his youngest son and other royals has taken the focus away from his own work overseas.
The tabloid has quoted royal sources as suggesting Charles has been put out by other media briefings that suggest the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are solely responsible for modernising the monarchy.
And the newspaper also goes as far to claim the Queen wishes her two grandsons to put aside any possible issues – but does not wish to intervene, leaving the matter to her son and their father to resolve.

A royal insider is said to have revealed: “The Prince of Wales is very busy at the moment touring Japan, including a visit with the Welsh rugby team. But the point is that this whole kerfuffle has completely undermined the work he is doing, just as it undermined the work Prince William and Kate were doing in Pakistan.
“To do it to your brother is one thing. To do it to your father and paymaster is a completely different matter altogether.”
Harry, 35, hinted at a strained relationship with William when he admitted in his recent ITV documentary that they are on “different paths” and have “good days and bad days”.
However, Harry also said they will “always be there” for each other and that he loves his brother “dearly”.

Aides close to Charles are also reported to be downcast at the level of attention afforded to another royal ITV documentary – one about the future King, rather than his second son and his wife.
A source is reported to have explained: “This is a documentary about his life’s work and it really meant a lot to him. It’s been completely and utterly annihilated, all because these two think they’ve reinvented the wheel.”
Meghan is also targeted in The Sun’s story, which goes on to suggest she once ‘snubbed’ Charles.
The anonymous insider told the red top that it went against royal protocol on “at least one occasion” when she was invited to an event, accepted and then no-showed.
