Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dogged by marriage difficulty rumours in recent days and now Lady Colin Campbell has jumped on the bandwagon.
The controversial couple has had “problems in the marriage supposedly for some time” amid rumours he called in divorce lawyers “months ago”, the royal author and socialite has alleged.
Lady Colin, 73, stuck her oar into the latest media narrative after reports that Harry has a hotel room on standby near the family’s Montecito home in LA for when he wants ‘alone time’.

Lawyers ‘called in’
She told GB News: “There have been problems in the marriage supposedly for some time. I mean, I have heard from five totally reliable sources that Harry called in the lawyers some months ago.
“The problem is that the information doesn’t necessarily match up with their public face. But of course, their public face is to an extent slapped on for monetary gain.
“And also if there are real problems in the marriage, which there do appear to be, Harry’s going to have a heck of a time extricating himself, because he has been very overt about all of his failings and all of his drug-taking.”
All of that drug-taking being historical – let’s be clear here.
Claims about Harry allegedly having a room set aside at a luxury members-only hotel a two-hour drive from the family home he shares with Meghan and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, appeared in The Sun earlier this week.
He also allegedly has a room at San Vicente Bungalows, a private members club in LA, near where he attends the infamous Barry’s Bootcamp gym class.

Paul Burrell ‘spills’ on Harry and Meghan marriage
Former royal butler Paul Burrell has also had his say on these latest rumours (course he has), also divulging to GB News (where else?): “I’ve always been worried about Harry. I’ve always worried about him.
“Am I the only person in the United Kingdom that is thinking, ‘Has Harry finally woken up to the truth?’. Has he finally seen the truth in what his wife is doing – that he’s been brainwashed? That he’s been mesmerised by her beauty or something?’
“Because we all know that, but he doesn’t seem to see it.”
Burrell does concede that the notion of Prince Harry leaving his family seems, at best, somewhat premature.
He added: “If he left this relationship now, he’d lose his children because she’d keep them in America and he wouldn’t see them.
“But I have no doubt that when this happens – because we all know that it will happen – when it does happen, he will return to the United Kingdom and I think his father and his brother will both greet him back into the country with open arms.”
