Prince William prepares children for big move: George ‘enjoys’ trial day at new school

His new classmates didn't recognise him!

Ahead of a huge move for Prince William’s children this summer, Prince George is said to have sampled a prospective new school.

He has reportedly been to the school in Windsor for a “trial day”.

However, the other children were unaware of his royal status and didn’t even recognise him!

Prince George’s future classmates don’t know who he is

The eldest of Prince William and Kate’s children, Prince George, sampled the new school ahead of the family moving to be closer to the Queen.

The Queen recently made Windsor her permanent home. Additionally, according to some sources, the need for the Cambridges to move closer to her is growing “more and more”.

William and Kate are reported to be looking at moving to Windsor this summer.

As a result, the pair have been seen scouting out schools in Windsor.

They’ve also looked at Buckinghamshire and Surrey.

Prince George tried out his future school and, if all goes well, then his younger siblings may also attend.

Prince George’s classmates unaware of status

Reports speculate the eight-year-old future king reportedly enjoyed his try-out session, where classmates were blissfully unaware of his royal status.

Teachers were reportedly amused and relieved the other children did not recognise George. Nor did they understand his status.

In addition, the school has many children from wealthy European and Russian families. However, it’s not considered to be a “high-profile” school.

Prince George has previously attended the Westacre Montessori School Nursery near the family’s Norfolk home Anmer Hall.

Afterwards, in 2017, he then enrolled at Thomas’s School in Battersea in South London.

He said: “I think we’re going to see Her Majesty’s grandchildren really step up this year.

“Her great grandchildren, especially George, will be up front and heavily involved in the celebrations.”
