The bond between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry could be irreparable, it has been claimed.
After a turbulent few years, hopes for the pair to reunite might be dashed as it’s reported that Prince William is still angry with his younger brother.
Prince William previously tried to play peacemaker
In a recent piece for the Daily Mail, royal expert Robert Jobson revealed insights about Prince William ahead of his upcoming 40th birthday.
Ahead of Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding, it was reportedly a tense time. However, Prince William often played mediator in the run up to the big day.

A royal source shared: “Every time there was a drama, or a member of staff was on the verge of quitting, William would personally try and sort it out.”
However, even the prince had his limits.
An argument between the two royal brothers broke out after Harry’s infamous “what Meghan wants, she gets” outburst.
The argument apparently spurred from Meghan being told she wouldn’t be able to wear a tiara she had chosen from the Queen’s collection.
The pair have been more ‘estranged’ after Harry’s interviews
Whilst the pair have been close, the rift between Prince William and Harry is undeniable.
It allegedly began when William tried to offer advice to his younger sibling.
He suggested he should take time to get to know his American girlfriend before committing himself. However, this did not sit well.
Furthermore, during an official tour of South Africa, Harry spoke out for the first time about his strained relationship with his brother.
The comments were reported to be a shock. As a result, William is reported to be full of “simmering resentment”.
He wasn’t sure if he could ever fully trust his brother again.
One close friend said: “To say William felt deeply let down would be an understatement. He wasn’t sure if he could ever fully trust his brother again.”
In addition, a later interview angered the situation more when Harry made comments about his brother and father.
He claimed that William and Charles were “trapped” by their roles.

However, William squashed the comments and told friends he embraced his role and understood the path laid out ahead of him.
Yet, a senior figure said: “He was furious. He thought it was not only bad manners, but frankly rude to make those claims on his behalf, with no authority, and made worse because it was total nonsense.”
