Remember when Danny Dyer found out he had royal ancestors when he took part in Who Do You Think You Are?
Well, Stephen Fry brought it up in front of the entire nation, oh, and Prince William and Kate.
The royal pair were greeted with a standing ovation when they took to their seats on Sunday night’s 70th British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards.

Stephen began to joke, saying it was lucky that Kate Middleton was there to provide comfort for husband William.
Why would he need comfort?
The host then said: “He is still recovering from the devastating news that he is related to Danny Dyer.”
HA!
Kate and Will both laughed and the crowd were loving Fry’s jokes.
Phew!
Stephen also made a few digs at President Trump throughout the evening, and joked that the crowds were “row after row of the most overrated people on the planet”.
Kate, of course, looked absolutely stunning in a floor-length Alexander McQueen gown which cost £2880.
The 35-year-old wore shimmery chandelier earrings, and had her hair swept up in a low bun.
According to The Sun, they had the whole red carpet shut down for 30 minutes.
A source said: “The Royal arrival was a massive deal for the organisers, people with headsets started to move people along half an hour before they were due to arrive.

“There was a lot of talk about ‘the Royal arrival’ and there was no messing about – in a matter of minutes the whole carpet was cleared of talent and their entourages.
“Fans and members of the press were told Michelle Williams and Penelope Cruz were waiting in their cars to walk down the carpet but after Kate and William arrived they never turned up.
“Time was getting pretty tight as the ceremony started soon after Kate and William arrived.”
Michelle and Penelope were reportedly said to have been spotted having their red carpet photos away from the entrance.
You don’t mess with the royal family!
