Prince William and his cousin Zara Tindall shared a sweet moment at Royal Ascot yesterday (June 19).
The Prince of Wales arrived at the racecourse in Windsor with his stepmother, Queen Camilla, leading the royal carriage procession.
Arriving at the parade ring, William disembarked and was greeted by Zara, who welcomed him with a sweet hug and kiss and a touching show of concern as the Princess of Wales continues her cancer treatment.
Royal news: Prince William supported by Zara Tindall
The cousins, who were born just 13 months apart, have remained close friends into adulthood.
And, as a result, seemed thrilled to be in each other’s company at Royal Ascot.
Zara, in particular, seemed particularly warm towards William, in new comments picked up by a lip reader watching their interaction at the racecourse.
Picking up on the tender moment Zara embraced her cousin, it’s claimed she shared her concern as she asked him: “Hi, lovely to see you, are you okay?”
Reassuring his cousin, William replied: “Yes of course I am, it’s wonderful.”
While no other details of the conversation were revealed by the expert, Zara was seen affectionately adjusting the jacket of William’s tail suit.
Prince William has fun with Princess Eugenie
William’s buoyant mood was also displayed with his younger cousin Princess Eugenie. She attended with her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Eugenie wore a pink dress teamed with a mortar board-style hat for the occasion, complete with tassel. And the Prince of Wales was seen gently teasing her over her choice of headgear.
He was seen playfully flicking the tassel that fell in front of his cousin’s smiling face.

Carole and Michael Middleton
Royal Ascot was the first public outing for Carole and Michael Middleton since daughter Kate‘s cancer diagnosis.
As they arrived at the Windsor racecourse, royal fans shared their delight. Many picked up on the close bond between William and his in-laws.
However, later in the day, his gentlemanly behaviour was definitely on display. This came as Carole got her heel stuck in the grass on the racecourse.
William gallantly offered her his hand to grab onto after the heel of her shoe got trapped in the turf.
The pair were seen laughing off the mishap as they walked off together and joined other guests.
