Proving that Wills has still got a sense of humour – despite having two small children and another on the way – by joining in with one of Miranda’s favourite activities, galloping.
The comedian got one of the cast members to ask the future king if he would partake in a gallop – and a grinning Wills happily got to his feet in the royal box and did the move.
Next to him, pregnant wife, Kate Middleton, burst into laughter and viewers at home did pretty much the same thing, praising the dad-of -two for being a ‘good sport’.
“Love Prince William, such a sport. He comes across as very amiable x,” tweeted one fan.
A viewer from Texas added: “Miranda Hart got Prince William to gallop. My life is now complete. #RoyalVariety”
“They got prince William to gallop!” another thrilled fan commented, complete with lots of laughing face emojis.
And a fourth said: “Prince William galloping has made my year!”
In fact, Wills was a pretty good sport throughout the show, even shouting out ‘such fun’ from his place in the Royal Box at one point.
We love a good pony gallop!
