Sarah, the Duchess of York has spoken out in support of Meghan Markle.
And Fergie revealed that she can relate to how the Duchess of Sussex is being treated because the same thing happened to her.
Sarah said she feels “desperately sorry” for Meghan, before calling the royal “modern and fabulous”.
Chatting to Vogue Arabia, Sarah gave a rare interview in the midst of her ex-husband Prince Andrew’s sex scandal.

In the chat, she opened up about her feelings for Meghan and revealed that being under such scrutiny “must be hard” for the former actress.
She is great. Why can’t Meghan be great? Why can’t she be celebrated?
Sarah said: “It must be hard for Meghan, and I can relate to her. I believe she is modern and fabulous. She was famous before. She is great. Why can’t Meghan be great? Why can’t she be celebrated?”
Asked if she had any advice for Meghan, Fergie said she “tends not to give advice” because it is often taken out of context.
She added: “But I have been in Meghan’s shoes, and I still am. There’s always a twist of negativity and it just gets so sad and tiring. I abhor bullying and I feel desperately sorry for the pain they must be going through because I’ve been through it.”

Fergie also opened up about her relationship with Prince Harry‘s mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
She said that she “loved her with all my heart” and said the pair brought the “fun” to the monarchy.
Sarah revealed: “I brought modern etiquette and fun, with Diana. Me and Diana had the best time. We really did, no question. I loved her with all my heart.”
Harry and Meghan are currently enjoying an extended break from the spotlight, a move which has been welcomed by his brother Prince William.
