The Duchess of Sussex could be induced in the next two days, according to reports, putting her plans for a home birth at risk.
The Daily Mail has claimed that Meghan is currently a week overdue, and doctors are preparing to induce labour.

Reports had suggested that the Duchess was planning a home birth at Frogmore Cottage, but if an induction is required, it is likely she will instead give birth at Frimley Park Hospital.
The Mail spoke to an obstetrician – Clive Spence-Jones of Whittington Hospital – who claimed that due to Meghan’s age, doctors might want to induce earlier than is usual.
“A recent study found that women over 36 should consider induction around their due date, as they are at higher risk,” he said.
He went on to say that there is increased risk with induced labour – which means that hospital birth is required.
“After induction there are more opportunities for medical intervention to be needed during labour, so home birth is not recommended,” he said.
In most cases, doctors offer to induce labour if the pregnancy is around seven to 10 days overdue.
But if the mother is well enough, they can wait as long as two weeks past their due date.
Meghan is said to be happy and comfortable at home in Frogmore Cottage with Prince Harry and her mother by her side.

Harper’s Bazaar reported that she’s staying relaxed in the lead up to the birth, with their source describing the Duchess as “comfortable and content.”
They went on to say, “They’re in their own bubble at the moment. Meg is with the most important people in her life… …she’s calm.”
Prince Harry has had to cancel part of a scheduled trip to The Netherlands as the royal couple await the arrival of their first child. His visit will now last only one day.
