Whenever a celebrity couple announce that they’re expecting a baby, the world and its dog begin feverishly searching for clues as to the sex of the new arrival.
And that lot over on Twitter reckon that Prince William and his pregnant wife Kate Middleton gave a massive one as they stepped out at a reception for World Mental Health Day at Buckingham Palace last night.
Both the Duke and the Duchess – who’s four months pregnant with the couple’s third child – were wearing blue, the traditional colour for a BOY.
William, 35, looked as smart as ever in a crisp Royal blue two-piece with matching tie, while 35-year-old Kate – making her first public appearance since her pregnancy was announced last month – looked elegantly demure in a gorgeous pale-blue dress from Temperley.
Coincidence? The Twitterati didn’t seem to think so.
“Blue dress in first public appearance since pregnancy announcement – is the next baby a boy?” quizzed one fan.
Another said: “Does all the blue mean another prince?!”

And a third tweeted: “Is that blue stunning dress a sign for a boy?”
But other fans seemed to be more interested in Kate’s baby bump.
“I can’t believe she’s prego, she looks too thin,” scoffed one.
Another moaned: “She’s further along than me in pregnancy and looks stunning. And I’m over here looking like a cow.”
William and Kate announced the news of the pregnancy last month after Kate – who suffers from an extreme morning-sickness condition called hyperemesis gravidarum – missed a number of royal appointments.
But she looked radiant as she attended yesterday’s ceremony alongside William and his brother Harry.

If all goes well, Prince George, four, and three-year-old Princess Charlotte will have a new sibling around March of next year.
And whether it’s a boy or a girl, we’re sure it’ll be royally cute.
