Woman Arrested After ‘Attempted Break-In’ At Prince George’s School

Met Police and Kensington Palace have issued statements

A 40-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly breaking into Prince George’s school.
She was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary after at Thomas’s Battersea on Tuesday.
The young royal began his schooling at the primary in south London last Thursday.

At the time of publishing, the female was still in police custody, after being arrested on Wednesday afternoon.
Met police have confirmed that security at the private school is now under review.

A spokesman said: “We are working with the school, which is attended by His Royal Highness Prince George, to review its security arrangements after the incident.
“Police were alerted and officers attended immediately after the issue came to light.
“Police are part of the protective security arrangements for the Prince and we will continue to work closely with the school, which is responsible for building security on its site.”

A Kensington Palace spokeswoman said: “We are aware of the issue but we would not comment further on security matters.”
The school is yet to comment.
