Emmerdale’s Thomas Atkinson revealed earlier this week that he was mugged at knife-point while on holiday in Paris.
The actor, who plays the soap’s serial killer Lachlan White, opened up about the incident on Instagram.
He shared a picture, alongside the caption: “Last shot before I had a knife pulled on me and phone stolen. Thank you, Paris. Nice to know I was welcome.”
Fans were understandably worried for the 19-year-old but he assured them he was doing okay.
Tom wrote: “For anyone asking, I’m fine. found it quite amusing tbh. Being stuck in a foreign country with no phone was an experience to say the least. (sic)”
Glad to hear he’s not been traumatised by the incident.
The attention over the attack has uncovered Tom’s incredible talent for photography…
His pictures of the city of light are absolutely stunning.
And it seems there really is no end to his creative talents. As well as acting, he’s a singer.

Tom is currently at the centre of the most talked-about storyline in Emmerdale. Having killed his mother and grandfather, best mate Gerry and his fake uncle Terry (very probably), it now looks as though he has also done away with his aunt, Rebecca.
And, if that’s not enough, he may well be adding Priya and the love of his life, Belle, to the list.
Last night he panicked after discovering that Priya would be doing some work at the hut in the woods where he held and ‘killed’ Rebecca.
Spotting an etching on the wall ‘Lachlan is a killer’, he scratched away at ‘iller’ before Priya arrived.
But she saw the remainder of the message… and you don’t need to be a genius to work out what it could mean… Uh-OH.
Most soap villains tend to get a bit of stick from viewers when they’re out and about even though, y’know, IT’S NOT REAL.
But Tom has received some LOL reactions, he revealed last week.
“It’s normally old women calling me a ‘naughty boy’. I had an old woman smack my bum in the Trafford Centre, which was really weird.
“But it was great – I loved it.”
