Coronation Street welcomed the media onto the cobbles yesterday, to launch its most exciting week of drama.
Next week alone there will be a death, two weddings and an exploding secret one family will never recover from.
And one of the highlights will be Steve and Tracy’s matrimonials – will they get married or won’t they after Tracy gets the wrong end of the stick and thinks her groom bedded Abi?
Kate Ford, who plays Tracy, was due to attend the event to talk about her exciting storyline, but she was notably absent.
Now it’s emerged she was forced to miss out due to a health condition.
The soap fave suffers from debilitating endometriosis, which flared up yesterday and left her in too much pain to work.
To all those other women suffering from #endometriosis i feel your pain. All plans cancelled for today and I’m off to bed. 😩

Anyone who has endo, or knows someone who does, will know only too well how excruciating it can be.
Kate first opened up about suffering from the condition after US singer Halsey revealed she’d undergone surgery because of it.
Halsey had written on Instagram: “Today I braved multiple terrifying surgeries.”The most important of which being the surgery that would hopefully treat my endometriosis.
“For those of you who have followed this battle of mine or who may suffer with it yourself, you know the extremes to which it can be mentally exhausting and physically painful.”
