Catherine Tyldesley has made a hilarious confession about a recent parenting fail – and why she’s glad she did it!
The former Coronation Street star revealed that she and husband Tom Pitfield once made a pact that they wouldn’t have children and dogs sleeping in their bed, but Cath admitted that’s now gone out of the window.
The couple, who have four-year-old son Alfie, recently got a new family puppy and Cath shared an adorable snap of them all snuggled up in bed together.

Cath, Tom, Alfie and puppy Geoff were captured in a black and white shot and the actress said she was glad they “failed” their original promise.
The 35-year-old revealed that their new addition has fitted right in to their family.
She wrote alongside the sweet pic: “Many of you asking how #Geoff the puppy is getting on. Thank you for your messages – he’s a dream!!! He loves cuddles/kids/slippers ❤️.”
Reflecting on a promise she made herself back in 2015, she added: “Quote 2015: Cath: We’ll never be one of those couples that have their kids and dogs in the bed.
“2019 …#fail 😂😂😂 I’m glad we failed ❤️❤️❤️.
“Ps. Wtf is going on with my arm?!?! Pic credit: an overwhelmed husband @tompitfield7 😂❤️.”
