Claire King may be about to blow Emmerdale apart when she returns as Kim Tate, but the actress is still disappointed by her time on Coronation Street.
The actress, 55, is most famous for playing super villain Kim in the Dales, but she also starred as Erica Holroyd on the Street from 2014 to 2017.

She has now revealed that she thinks ITV soap Corrie made a mistake with her character and turned her miscarriage storyline into “a bit of a joke”.
We’re guessing she doesn’t want to work there again then?!
Criticising her former employers in a recent interview with What’s On TV, Claire said they mishandled her 2015 storyline, in which her 50-year-old character suffered a miscarriage after an affair with Nick Tilsley.

She said: “I literally was in for 12 episodes and they decided to bring her back and we had the pregnancy storyline, which was a bit of a joke.
“It could’ve been a big story. They did it with Kym Marsh afterwards which got a lot of praise, but they just left it at mine and finished it.”
She added: “I felt as though it was cut short a bit, particularly for older women, because it is a topical conversation to have.
“It could’ve been delved into a lot more. But anyway, I felt that they didn’t really know what to do with the character, so it was just ‘adios!'”
Erica initially appeared in the soap for a short run as a friend of Liz, who ran a bar with her in Spain, before returning for the pregnancy storyline.
Claire went on to say she barely recalled her time in Weatherfield, saying: “I can hardly remember it, quite honestly. She was a bit stuck on her own because she was a bit of a pinball in a big machine with no family, no ties.
“She literally had one friend, Liz; they’d run a bar together in Spain when Liz did her walkabout for a few years.”
Nick then went on to have a relationship with Carla Connor, while Erica got together with Dev Alahan.
Next week, Claire will finally make her return to the Dales as Kim Tate, after nearly 20 years away.
We. Can’t. Wait.
