The last week in May will be a great time to be a TV fan – with Coronation Street promising huge storylines during special post-watershed episodes.
These will coincide with another immense ITV event, as Britain’s Got Talent kicks off its live shows in the build up to the final.

ITV have confirmed that the soap will air a week of episodes in the 9pm time slot beginning on May 27.
The soap will air every night between the BGT performance and results shows.
Last year’s 9pm episodes saw serial killer Pat Phelan take centre stage, while the year before focused on Bethany Platt’s grooming storyline.
This time around, we can expect to see Carla Connor’s mental health storyline come to a dramatic head. But will we discover the identity of the villain who caused the collapse of her factory?

Other storylines set to play out include Nick and brother David’s knowledge of who really stole their grandmother Audrey’s £80,000.
And something tells us thuggish loan shark Rick Neelan will be involved somehow.
Earlier this week, a Corrie spokesperson teased the forthcoming episodes, revealing that fans will soon find out who the real culprit behind the factory collapse is.
They told Inside Soap magazine: “Following weeks of speculation, we are finally going to learn which local has blood on their hands.
“Viewers will learn the truth, although the rest of the Street still has a little way to go before they clock on. It’s a story that is going to run and run, and the outcome is not going to be cut and dried.”
But expect a curveball!
Meanwhile, Emmerdale has also confirmed schedule changes for Britain’s Got Talent live week.
For the past month, Emmerdale has been airing seven episodes per week, thanks to an extra edition on Tuesdays at 8pm.
However, it will revert back to five nights at 7pm – there will be no 8pm episodes on either Tuesday or Thursday that week.
Which is just as well, as we don’t think we could cope with any more drama!
