Currently on Coronation Street, Sarah and Adam’s marriage lies in tatters after her affair with Damon Hay. Adam discovered Sarah’s baby wasn’t his and the fallout has been huge.
Earlier this year, fans were convinced the love triangle was set to become a love Square as they saw chemistry between Adam and someone else.
And now his marriage is seemingly dead in the water – is the way clear for Adam to find love elsewhere?
Coronation Street: The Sarah/Adam/Damon love triangle
Married woman Sarah has recently been playing away as she’s fallen for bad boy Damon Hay’s charms despite doing her best to get him to stay away.
Sarah first slept with Damon in Chariot Square Hotel after he saved her business meeting from going badly. She then told Damon that this would never happen again before going back home to Adam and suggesting that they try for a baby.
However, Sarah soon fell back into Damon’s arms once it was confirmed that he was a free man. With Adam working late nights, Sarah started seeing Damon in secret.
Sarah tried several times to kick her Damon habit, but just kept going back to him. Until Adam found out the truth when Harry saw her kissing Damon and she was forced to confess.
Despite him giving her another chance and the pair trying to work through it, Adam couldn’t trust her. And when she found out she was pregnant things got even worse.
Adam was having panic attacks and needed to know the baby’s father. Although Sarah tried all she could to make out Adam was the dad, the truth was revealed in dramatic fashion on Monday night after Adam found out and put Damon’s name on the gender reveal balloon.
Fans predict a love square involving Dee-Dee
All the way back in May, before any of this drama kicked off Dee-Dee Bailey found out about the affair and warned Sarah off Damon. Fans were then desperate for Dee-Dee and Adam to get together.
They think that Dee-Dee has feelings for Adam.
One fan predicted that a love square is in the works, commenting: “I’m calling it right now… Dee-Dee will have an affair with Adam”
Another person shared the same view, suggesting: “I also think Adam and Dee-Dee would make a sweet couple.”
A third viewer wrote: “Waiting for Adam and Dee -Dee to sleep together I mean it’s going to happen right?”
A fourth and final Coronation Street viewer pondered this important question: “Is it me or are they chem-testing Adam and Dee Dee?”
Does Dee-Dee have feelings for Adam?
Dee-Dee and Adam are close and she’s supporting him through this.
Fans are already back to suggesting the couple would be a good match: “Adam deserves better he should get with Dee-Dee,” shared one after the gender reveal party.
Next week he tells her he’s ready to move on – and gets drunk and heads into town to prove it.
But could Adam and Dee-Dee grown even closer now? Will their friendship turn into something more? And is it even a good idea given he clearly still loves his wife?!
