Coronation Street’s Tyler Jeffries and mum Vicky might not be the sort of neighbours you’d CHOOSE to have, but fans of the soap have revealed they want the pair to move in permanently.
We’re not so sure the residents of Weatherfield would agree, though!

Writing on Digital Spy Forums, one user began a poll asking whether Vicky and Tyler should move to Coronation Street permanently, and plenty of those who responded were behind the idea.
One wrote: “I’d love to see them move onto the Street and mix with the regular characters. Vicky should get a job at Roy’s Rolls and Tyler get his job back at the Bistro.”
Another agreed, saying: “I don’t mind them. There are characters who have been on that show for years that I find more unbearable than Vicky and Tyler.”

A third added: “Oh goodness yes. So much more bearable than half the characters that inhabit the Street. They have a spark about them. The fact they annoy Simon, Steve and co helps their cause too.”
“Yes, Chesney, Gemma and Bernie suffer a tragic death and they move into their house,” joked one more.
Others said their inclusion is “long overdue” and said they would bring “diversity to the Street”, while another typed: “Yes I thought when Vicky was working at the factory the storyline would be Peter falling for her. I like the son and feel they have great potential. Could they inherit the bistro? Tyler becomes a chef?”
Not everyone agreed, though, with one insisting: “No I don’t want the pet poisoner and his hard-faced mother to move in.”
Viewers know that Vicky arrived in Weatherfield when her convict son Tyler got Amy Barlow pregnant.
She has since embarked on an affair with Robert Preston, and is pregnant with his baby – all behind the back of his other girlfriend Michelle Connor.
Despite the online campaign, Vicky star Kerri Quinn recently confirmed she’s departing the cobbles at the end of the storyline.
Both Tristan Gemmill and Kym Marsh are leaving the soap this year and, in an interview with Metro.co.uk, Kerri revealed she will also be exiting at the end of the plot.
But the actress has loved her time on Corrie so much, she’s already thinking of ways her character can return to the cobbles.
“I think the difficulty there is how, because she has no link to the street,” Kerri explained.
“Nobody really likes her, she has no friends, so it’s hard, how you do it.”
With Vicky’s baby set to be a Christmas baby, and Tristan confirmed for panto this festive season, it looks like a Yuletide exit might be on the cards.
