Coronation Street has dropped a huge hint David Platt is going back to prison.
The hairdresser faces fraud charges for helping his brother Nick steal and hide their grandmother Audrey’s £80,000 inheritance.
Nick was the one who stole the money originally with con woman Natalie’s help, but when David found out he didn’t force him to give it back – he blackmailed him into funding his dreams of owning his own barber shop.
The brothers have both since turned on each other after Audrey reported them to the police.
David has told the truth but Nick has insisted on trying to put all the blame on David – even roping in girlfriend Leanne Battersby to do his dirty work.

In the show both brothers are facing prison – but now the soap has dropped the biggest hint yet that David will be the one banged up.
Posting a picture from the week’s filming on Twitter as a Saturday Sneak Peek, the ITV soap has revealed David’s daughter Lily’s birthday party and there’s one person missing.
As the little one – who is David’s daughter with the late Kylie Platt – celebrates her sixth birthday, her dad is nowhere to be seen.
Instead, her brother Max, aunt Sarah, stepmother Shona and vicar Billy come together to throw her a party.
Does it mean David has been banged up? Fans certainly noticed his absence. One said: “Where is David? Lily is his daughter and Shona is his fiancee.”
A second asked simply: “Where is David?”
Actor Jack P. Shepherd sparked speculation David would end up in prison earlier this month when he revealed he was going on an extended holiday with girlfriend Hanni.
He surprised her with tickets to New York for after their luxurious Caribbean holiday.
One fan replied: “Congrats but I hope this doesn’t mean David’s going to prison.”
Another added: “Can’t help but think this means David will end up inside.”
