Ryan Prescott has teased he has got a busy few months on Coronation Street ahead of Kym Marsh’s upcoming exit.
The actor plays Kym‘s son Ryan Connor and fans had been concerned about his lack of screen time of late.
But he has confirmed he will be back at the forefront of the soap in the coming weeks as the Connor family prepare for two huge exits.
Not only is Kym leaving her role of Michelle Connor, but Faye Brookes quit her role as Kate Connor shortly after, meaning the family will be down two members.
However Ryan has hinted that his increased workload means both he and James Burrows, who plays Ali Neeson, will be sticking around after Michelle leaves.

He told Digital Spy: “I can’t really go into subject matter, but there’s a lot more coming up for Ryan this summer.
“There’s a lot of family issues going on. Obviously you know Kym is going to be leaving at the end of this and taking a year out.
“It’s kind of like, storylines building up to that, that kind of ultimate moment for her where she has to make a decision to leave or not.”
He added: “Obviously there’s always some kind of sibling activity going on, so me and James are going to have our work cut out this summer.
“It’s going to be really fun, there’s some really, really nice stuff coming. There’s some really good stuff.
“I’m really excited to be a part of it, so keep watching.”
