Things are getting tense over in Coronation Street next week when an argument between Sarah Platt and Adam Barlow ends with an unsuspecting Seb getting punched in the face.
With her relationship with Gary on the rocks, Sarah decides to drown her sorrows at the pub – but it doesn’t take long for for her to get chatting to Adam Barlow, and the pair end up getting on like a house on fire.
Offloading about her romance woes, Sarah reveals how Nicola is back in town with Gary’s baby son, but to make matters worse, their finances have seen better days and Gary and Sarah can’t stop fighting over what to do to solve their worries.

Determined to forget her family dramas, Sarah downs shots, and so when Adam suggests a nightcap back at his, she doesn’t hesitate to agree.
As the pair get back to Adam’s flat, they share a bottle of wine and it doesn’t take long for things to get flirty – leading to Adam kissing Sarah.
While it remains to be seen how Sarah reacts to Adam’s kiss, one thing we do know is that’s not the end of the drama for the night… not by a long way.
Seb watches as Sarah heads out of Adam’s flat, closely followed by the suave solicitor himself… but seeing things are tense between the pair, Seb gets the wrong end of the stick and thinks Sarah is being harassed and wades in to help.
But things take a sudden turn for the worst when a drunk Adam takes offence to Seb’s interference and retaliates by attacking him.
Sarah breaks up the fight and takes Seb home to tend to his wounds… but she’s desperate not to let Gary know where she has been all evening and tries to cover up Seb’s injuries by lying.
Sarah claims that Seb was was attacked by some random men in the street, but will he buy her fib?
Clearly Seb knows that wasn’t the case at all – but will he keep Sarah’s secret, or reveal everything to Gary?

And why is Sarah so desperate to hide her drink with Adam from Gary? Is it because she kissed him back?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
