Tormented Dr Ali’s downward spiral is set to take a violent turn when the Corrie character takes the beating of his life.
In scenes set to air later next week, Michelle Connor’s son will be rescued by Ryan after picking a fight with two bikers as he continues to self destruct.
But despite Ryan’s intervention to save troubled Ali, the truce between the almost-brothers looks to be an uneasy one – with the pair clashing themselves after Ali flirts with Bethany during a boozing session.
According to ITV, Michelle will be left horrified at the injuries Ali sustains during the one-sided fight.

Having mixed his drinks with anti-depressants he has pinched from the surgery, Ali will get plastered in The Bistro before trying it on with Bethany, whose romance with Ryan seems to be blossoming.
A scuffle between Ali and Ryan is broken up by Robert. But as Ali storms out, Robert leaves Ryan shocked by a comment that is thought to reveal the dark secret about drug dealer Ronan’s death.
A distressed Ali will then go looking for trouble – and he finds it by goading two men outside the tattoo parlour who let their fists do their talking.
And hopeful medic Ali could also be putting his career on the line after he gets his hands on the medication by tricking Moira into letting him into the surgery.

He resorts to the con after suffering from sleepless nights, haunted by his conscience.
Bad times look set to continue for the family after reports claim Ryan is set to betray his family and “shop” Ali to the police.
The Sun quoted an insider as saying: “When Robert accidentally lets slip to Ryan how Ali killed Ronan in cold blood, it’s not going to end well.
“It’s going to spark a war between Ali and Ryan that could destroy Michelle’s family.”
