After raising a glass to Sarah for how well she’s run the factory, Carla tells her she owes her for taking her mobile phone.
Sarah says: “So it was you that took it then?” Carla replies: “I think so, though in my defence I did think you were all the enemy at the time.”
Sarah asks what happened to her mobile in the end but Carla is surprised it wasn’t returned as everyone else got their phones back.

Peter suggests maybe she didn’t take it after all and Carla jokes: “Maybe Gary spirited it away.”
Carla reveals that she had an hallucination about Gary in hospital.
Peter steps in to say she did also see Aidan, Rana and Hayley but Carla said when she saw Gary it was “bizarre”.
When Sarah asks her to explain, she said when he was in her room Gary rummaged through her bag for something.

Viewers know that Gary is behind the Underworld factory roof collapse, which took the life of Rana Habeeb.
Back in May, Gary was tied up by loan shark Rick, who planned on killing him after he realised Gary’s ex-girlfriend Sarah had broken into his office and taken Gary’s passport back.
Whilst Rick was out of the room, Gary managed to leave Sarah a voicemail admitting he was behind the factory roof, thinking these were his last moments.
When the police turned up at Rick’s office, Gary managed to escape but soon realised Sarah didn’t have her phone. He realised that Carla had her mobile and took it, deleting the message.
But is it all about to come catching up to Gary?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
