Coronation Street SPOILER: Elsa is Carla’s new business partner

Carla gets another new factory co-owner

Nick Tilsley has managed to anger nearly all of Weatherfield – except his mum – since his return, so it’s a wonder he’s stuck around.

But he thought he at least had a business to keep him in town.

That’s set to change when Elsa turns up again next week and Carla thinks they should go into business together instead.

The revelation that Nick’s got a secret wife was a surprise to no one except Leanne, who discovered everything last week.

With Leanne furious and refusing to listen to his explanations, Nick’s in a bad mood.

Nick, who had bought Peter Barlow’s shares of the factory and gone into business with Carla, had been about to sign the whole thing over to Carla because she knew about Elsa and was blackmailing him.

But now the secret is out, he tells Carla he won’t be signing anything over and they’re stuck working together.

Carla’s fuming, but the cogs of an idea start turning when Elsa arrives and reveals Nick defrauded her of £40,000 to buy into the factory.

Suggesting to Elsa that as the money is hers, she’s therefore the one who owns the factory and not Nick, Carla suggests they go into business together.

Will Elsa agree? And does she want to stick around in Weatherfield now she knows how deceitful her husband can be?

Elsa does decide to confront Leanne, who is mortified she bought Nick’s lies.

She insists she had no idea he was married and begs Elsa to believe her. But will she?

And if she does decide to stick around, would she want Nick back?

With so many of his exes in town, surely it’s a recipe for disaster for Mr T?
