Gary Windass and Sarah Platt’s relationship hits the rocks next week when she discovers the true extent of his lies over the last few months.
With Gary now working for dangerous loan shark Rick Neeson after failing to pay off the loan that he borrowed to clear his mounting debts, his world has started to spiral out of control.
This week Coronation Street viewers will see Gary forced to work as a debt collector as a way to pay off Rick, but when he’s not very good at the job, Gary will lose everything.

Sarah is understandably fuming when she realises just how much Gary has been keeping from her, and next week sees Gary desperately trying to hold on to his relationship after losing everything else he’s ever worked for.
Gary tells Sarah that he has paid off his debt with Rick and promises that from now on he won’t keep any more secrets from her.
But just moments after telling her that he will be honest, Sarah discovers that the loan shark that Gary owed money to was called Rick… the very same man who he invited into their family home.
Sarah sees red and their relationship hits the rocks, but soon the drama with Sarah is the least of Gary’s worries when Rick comes back to find him.
Seb Franklin is shocked when he finds a battered and bruised Gary at the builders’ yard, having taken a beating from Rick.
Gary lies that has tools and van have been stolen, when really they were taken by Rick as payment towards his debts.
With his relationship doomed and his livelihood in tatters, Gary is convinced that he has nothing else to lose.
But just when he thought things couldn’t get any worse, Gary discovers that Eileen has heard what has happened to him and has come to a huge decision that will change his life forever.
After Sarah confesses to Bethany that she wishes she had never got involved with Gary, the builder desperately tries to convince Bethany to put in a good word for him with Sarah, hoping to win her back.

But while Gary is determined they still have a future together, Sarah isn’t so sure and it takes a lot of persuading on Bethany’s behalf to get her mum to meet up with Gary.
The pair go for a drink, but Sarah’s heart is clearly not in it, and she just listens as he begs her for another chance and tells her how sorry he is for getting involved with Rick.
But will Sarah give Gary another chance? Or is this the end of the line for the troubled pair?
