Jim and Liz McDonald are set for a romantic reunion in Coronation Street.
The classic cobbles couple have been married twice before with disastrous consequences but now it seems they are going to make a go of things again as the ex-con returns to Weatherfield.
A source told The Sun: “Jim and Liz have always had chemistry and even after two failed marriages there’s still a spark there.
“They end up getting back together after a few moments just the two of them.
“But in soaps love stories never run smoothly, and it’s doubtful this will end up in marriage number three.”

It was recently confirmed that Liz is set to be rocked when her very much thought dead daughter Katie returns alive with her father.
Played by Aussie actress Hannah Ellis Ryan, Katie McDonald was believed to have died shortly after being born prematurely on New Year’s Day in 1992.
And despite having held a funeral for the tragic tot over 26 years ago, Katie, now known as Hannah, will soon dramatically turn up in Weatherfield.
But could the fallout from this bombshell bring Liz and Jim back together, despite her recent fling with Johnny?
Meanwhile, one newspaper report reckons Jim and Liz’s son Steve (played by Simon Gregson) could swerve his upcoming wedding to Tracy Barlow.

The Sun claims Steve – who has got wed a whopping six times on the soap – will use a fire at their wedding venue, a castle, as a reason to put their nuptials on hold.
Alternatively, he could use the excuse of his infant sister coming back from the dead.
But will his brother Andy make an appearance to meet his sister?
