It looks like Michelle Connor is not the forgive and forget type in tonight’s Coronation Street after she refuses to help out Alya Nazir in her time of need.
In a preview clip shared on Coronation Street’s official YouTube channel, it shows Alya going into the Bistro asking Ryan if he’s free the next day to help with waiting at an event she’s catering.
Explaining that she’s out of her depth, Alya’s relieved when Ryan says he can swap his shift.
Alya then goes on to say she may as well cancel as she has no experience with it, Ryan calls his mum Michelle over and explains the situation wondering if she can help, but Michelle is not keen.
Michelle suggests: “Well you can always post it out on social media, I mean you’re good at that aren’t you?”
Very clearly understanding her dig, Alya says “This is about Carla.”
Michelle replies with: “Well unless there’s somebody else you’re cyber stalking? I mean I don’t know.”
Alya tries to justify her actions and explains that her best friend had just died and she was grieving, apologising for what she did.
Michelle then accuses Alya of helping push Carla over the edge.
Ryan tells his mum that it’s not true and Carla wasn’t well.
Begging for help, Alya says: “I’m not proud of what I’ve done but please. I can’t do this on my own and it might even lead to more work.”
But Michelle is not having it and responds with: “And now you’re asking me to go into business with you? Nah I don’t think so!”
Alya then leaves the Bistro down on her luck and Ryan quickly defends Alya saying she made a mistake, like everyone does.
He then brings up Johnny when Aidan died and asks Michelle if she was honestly thinking straight following her own losses.
Will Michelle change her mind?

Earlier this year in March, the Underworld Factory roof collapsed killing Alya’s best friend Rana on her wedding day to Carla’s sister, Kate.
Not long after, Carla admitted she knew the factory roof needed repairs but didn’t know how dangerous the roof was.
Carla began receiving messages from Rana’s social media accounts, including one saying: “You destroy everything you touch.”

It was soon revealed that Alya was behind the messages.
Carla’s mental health then began to deteriorate and she was diagnosed with psychosis.
A couple of weeks ago, she suffered a breakdown where she hallucinated that she saw Rana.
Carla was returned to hospital before being sent to a specialist unit in Carlisle, with Peter and his son Simon going with her, but they are set to return soon.
Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
