Nick Tilsley has never been exactly squeaky clean, but his recent dodgy actions have propelled him from occasional rogue to a serious contender for the crown of Weatherfield’s new super villain.
He returned to Coronation Street with a big secret last year, before it was revealed he was married and needed to raise some cash to pay off his divorce fees – and fans were horrified when he stole £80,000 from his own grandmother.

He’s also hotly tipped to be the culprit behind the tragic factory collapse which killed Rana Habeeb and injured others – not to mention triggering Carla Connor’s decline in mental health.
Now, after months of increasing speculation, actor Ben Price has been spotted on location filming scenes for the ITV soap outside a courtroom.
But what crime is he on trial for?

We know he’s ruthless enough to rob his own granny, but is he behind the factory roof collapse, too?
Frankly, Nick could face prison if he’s found guilty of either crime.
The new photos of Nick’s demise show him attending court for a trial, just weeks after being arrested for playing a part in the factory roof sabotage.
But is he responsible. Or is he being framed?
Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, is also filming the scenes. But is he a witness? A defendant? Or even standing trial too?
Viewers know that David and Natalie are the only ones who know the truth about Audrey’s missing money, which has since been invested into the barber shop where they all now work.
Does somebody else find out and report the crime to the police?
Or does damning evidence come to light about the factory tragedy?
Fans will have to wait until early summer to find out, as scenes take approximately six weeks to reach our screens.
A spokesperson recently told Inside Soap magazine: “Following weeks of speculation, we are finally going to learn which local has blood on their hands.
“Viewers will learn the truth, although the rest of the Street still has a little way to go before they clock on. It’s a story that is going to run and run, and the outcome is not going to be cut and dried.”
