Sinead Tinker and Daniel Osbourne are thrilled when they’re allowed to finally take their baby son, Bertie, home. But how will they find life away from the hospital?
Ever since Bertie made his dramatic entrance to the world at the start of this year, Sinead and Daniel have been desperate to bring their little boy home.
Coronation Street viewers will remember that Bertie made an early arrival after Sinead’s cancer was found to have spread and the treatment that she needed to fight her illness meant she had to give birth prematurely.

Daniel is in his element as he brings his wife and son home and they’re all touched to see Ken has gone to a huge effort to make their homecoming special.
Daniel’s dad has decorated the flat with bunting and a welcome home banner… which helps put an even bigger smile on Sinead’s happy face.
As Sinead fusses over Bertie, she is daunted by the fact they’re now solely responsible for their son, without midwives and doctors around to help.
