Coronation Street’s Tim Metcalfe finds himself being rushed to hospital next week when his health takes a turn for the worst and wife Sally Metcalfe is forced to call an ambulance.
With the stress of what has happened to his beloved Sally over recent weeks, it is understandable that Tim might be feeling a little worse for wear next week.
But it seems the fact that he almost lost his wife in the Underworld roof collapse might have had more health implications than anyone realised, when Tim suddenly takes a turn for the worst.

Next week sees Tim reaching for the indigestion tablets, but he brushes feeling unwell under the carpet in front of Sally.
But when Gina goes to see him at the cab office to book a taxi so that she can leave the Street, she is shocked when she finds him in a state.
Realising that her brother-in-law isn’t well at all, Gina takes Tim home and orders him to rest.
But when Tim starts getting chest pains, Gina knows something is seriously wrong and refuses to leave Weatherfield until she knows he is okay.
Calling at number 8, Gina tells Sally that Tim needs to see a doctor, and fast.
But as things start to escalate, Sally bypasses the GPs and calls for an ambulance instead.
As Tim is whisked off to hospital, Sally is left fearing the worst for her husband, but thankfully, Tim’s not at death’s door just yet.
The following day she is allowed to bring Tim home and Sally is thrilled… but also is adamant that she is going to look after him, with her first job being to make sure he eats nothing but healthy food from now on.

As Sally starts to plan a menu of salad and veg, Tim’s clearly not taking his wellbeing a seriously as his wife and starts to hunt the house for chocolate…
While Sally might be making the right changes for her husband, it is clear that Tim isn’t phased by his latest hospital dash.
But will he live to regret being so flippant about his health? And will Gina still leave the cobbles after grateful Sally begs her to stay?
