Bethany Platt’s secret love for Daniel Osbourne looks set to be exposed in next week’s Coronation Street.
New preview pictures released by the soap today show James Bailey realising where Bethany’s heart lies.
Next week, Bethany asks James about the politics of being a professional footballer. She’s convinced it will make for a great article.

Later, Bethany shows her short story to James.
But when he realises that the story is about Bethany’s own experiences and her love for Daniel, what will he say?
Bethany’s feelings for Daniel have developed over the last few months.
Recently viewers saw Bethany come face to face with one of the men who attended her groomer, Nathan Curtis’ parties.
After the man was arrested, she decided to write about her grooming ordeal and asked Daniel to check it over.
Although Bethany sent the article to her local paper, it was turned down.
But Daniel quickly stepped in to stick up for Bethany and her article.
The experience brought the co-workers closer together and Bethany soon realised her feelings for Daniel.

But shortly afterwards Daniel found out that his wife, Sinead’s cancer is terminal and she hasn’t got long left to live.
Trying to hide her feelings, Bethany went in for a kiss with new neighbour James.
However, James told her that he was gay.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
