It looks like Josh could be in trouble when he is targeted by Billy Mayhew and Paul Foreman in next week’s Coronation Street.
After the prison riot which saw the rapist badly injured and put in hospital, his sex assault victim David Platt has been pleading his innocence and claiming that he actually protected Josh.
Back at home, David’s family and fiancée Shona Ramsey have been waiting for his release so he and Shona can get married.
David pleaded not guilty to attempted murder earlier this week, and has been waiting for Josh to wake up and tell the truth: that David didn’t hurt him.
However in Thursday night’s episode (October 31 2019) Josh woke up and LIED to police telling them that David tried to kill him.
With David facing a long time in prison, Gail has tried to encourage her eldest son Nick to bury the feud he has with his brother.
In upcoming scenes Nick pretends to be Josh’s solicitor in order to get a confession out of him.
However, Billy clocks him and questions what he’s up to, rumbling his plan.
