Next week’s Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Emma Brooker will finally discover that her fiance Curtis Delamere is not living on borrowed time as he has led everyone to believe.
Earlier this year, wannabe doctor Curtis had girlfriend Emma in flood of tears when he revealed he has a serious heart condition and doesn’t have long to live.
But it appears this is just a twisted LIE!
Coronation Street spoilers: Emma’s medical mystery
Next week on the ITV soap, Emma is babysitting for Hope Stape and Ruby Dobbs when Ruby accidentally swallows one of Curtis’ heart medication pills.
In a panic, Emma rushes Ruby to A&E.
Emma tells the doctor that Ruby has swallowed the heart medication by accident.
But she’s left puzzled when the doctor reveals the drug is just a regular vitamin pill.
What is going on?
Curtis confesses
Back home, Emma confronts Curtis with the pill box and demands some answers.
Realising that Emma has caught him in a lie, Curtis confesses that he is not dying!
It seems the lad has been lying all along because he enjoys the attention.
Curtis reveals that he first faked illness when his parents were getting divorced.
He slowly began telling more lies and hasn’t been able to stop.
Curtis has also been fibbing about his medical training to impress the folks of Weatherfield.
But it looks like he learned all that fancy medical jargon from a doctor training DVD!
Will Emma call off the wedding?
Emma is left reeling over the extent of Curtis’s lies.
But the warning signs were already there when Curtis claimed his dad was dead… only for his dad Neville to arrive in Weatherfield very much alive!
Heartbroken hairdresser Emma is unsure if she’ll ever be able to trust Curtis again.
So she orders him to pack his bags and get lost!
Does this mean Emma and Curtis’s wedding is definitely OFF?
