Tracy McDonald agrees to go on holiday with her mother-in-law Liz McDonald in tonight’s Coronation Street (October 28 2019).
As the pair sit in the Rovers, Liz is trying to convince Steve’s wife to go on a holiday to Spain with her.
A stunned Tracy is curious as to why her husband’s mother wants to go away with her, but Liz tells Tracy she thinks it will be good for her.
Tracy is very quick to point out the pair wouldn’t even get to Spain and that they’d probably end up diverting the plane and getting arrested for fighting.
But Liz tells her that she’s sure they’ll get on and even if they don’t, there’s worse places to fall out then a villa in Spain.
Tracy is adamant on not going as she tells Liz she doesn’t want to leave her brother Daniel, whose wife, Sinead passed away recently due to cancer.

Liz tells her that she knows how much she’s struggling and a holiday will give her the chance to get her head together and when she returns she’ll be a lot stronger for her brother.
She also points out that Daniel will have their brother Peter, nephew Adam and father Ken around.
