Coronation Street recently revealed that Evelyn is hiding a big secret and it’s going to be revealed soon.
Next week sees Tyrone following his gran only to catch her visiting a family friend named James.
It’s not long before James drops a bombshell on Tyrone that changes everything for him, but what could it be?
ED! readers have been quick to put their heads together and come up with some theories on what Evelyn could be hiding. Here are the best ones:
Evelyn is Tyrone’s mum
The main theory is that Evelyn is really Tyrone’s mum and not his Nan.
“His gran is his mum,” said one fan, while another added: “I bet she is really his mother.” A third agreed: “I reckon she’s his mum, not his nan.”
In a trailer recently released for the upcoming episodes, Tyrone is seen talking to a man in the car and the man says “leaving you at that police station was the hardest thing she’s ever had to do.”

One ED! reader even suggested that Evelyn may of had an affair with Lewis Archer and he could be Tyrone’s father. She was seen attending his funeral with a tea flask in tow.
She was even spotted waving as the curtain closed.

Another theory has suggested that Tyrone’s birth mother Cassandra is alive.
Evelyn told Tyrone that Cassie had a baby and didn’t know who the father was and also told him Cassie abandoned him outside the nearest police station.
She revealed Cassie had died after a short illness in South Africa, but could she really be alive?
“His mum is alive and lives close by,” suggested one reader.
Evelyn is not related to Tyrone
When Evelyn first appeared on the scene, viewers were sceptical about the battleaxe and wondered if she was really was his grandmother.
Evelyn even refused to do a DNA test to prove she was related to Tyrone.
