In Monday night’s (18.02.19) double bill of Coronation Street, viewers saw Amy Barlow confide in Bethany Platt about her pregnancy.
The school girl revealed she was pregnant to her family last month and ever since she has been struggling with her decision.
Although the underage teen originally wanted to go for an abortion, she then decided she wanted to keep her baby but now it looks like her mind has changed again.
Ever since Amy’s parents Tracy and Steve found out that the father was Tyler Jeffries, Tracy has been doing everything she can to keep him and his mum Vicki away from her daughter and the baby.
Monday’s episode showed Tracy was not happy that Robert had given Tyler a job at the Bistro and she went round there to tell him to give him the sack.
But Robert refused and thought that Tyler deserved the chance to get his life back on track.
Tracy then tried to bribe Tyler to stay away from Amy and the baby by offering him £5000. However, Amy saw her mother pinning the father of her child up against the wall and was angry at her interference.
When Tyler wouldn’t take the offer Tracy went a step further and reported Tyler to the police, further upsetting her daughter.
When they went to take Amy to the police station, Bethany could see Amy was upset and asked her if she was okay.

Before Amy entered the police station she ran off and eventually ran into Tyler in the Urban Garden. He apologised for the way he treated her and told her didn’t want to be a dad.
Amy was later seen at her granddad Ken Barlow’s house having a cup of tea with Bethany leaving many viewers confused on their sudden friendship.

Amy told Bethany she wants to have an abortion but she doesn’t want to tell her parents.

Bethany tried to convince her to talk to her parents but she is still angry with her mum.
Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
