Coronation Street viewers are desperate for builder Jan Lozinski to stay, after he reappeared on screen this week.
In Monday night’s episode of Corrie (August 26 2019) Eileen was still down about finding out her boyfriend Jan was caught up in human trafficking.
However, viewers knew that he was actually working with the police and couldn’t tell Eileen.
Solicitor Paula, who has always known the truth about Jan, went to see Eileen to see if she was okay and warned her that the trafficking gang don’t forgive and forget.
As the cab office worker returned home, Jan crept into her house, where he once lived.
He explained to Eileen that he had been helping the police and was a Covert Human Intelligence Source.
He revealed he came to Weatherfield as a builder to help earn a living and keep his cover. Although he planned to help fix the factory and move on, he couldn’t leave after he met Eileen.
Jan told Eileen that he loved her and had to move on in case Nikolai found out he was involved with the police.
Jan left his number with his ex-girlfriend but she didn’t want anything more to do with him; didn’t believe him.
Later, Eileen went to Paula to ask if what Jan said was true and she said he must love her in order to risk coming back.
Eileen called Jan back round and the builder said he would need to go to Aberdeen and asked her to go with him.
Corrie viewers are desperate for Jan to stay on the cobbles after becoming attached to the character.
