Coronation Street viewers were left in tears last night as Craig Tinker was run over saving his friend Bethany Platt.
The episodes of Corrie (August 19 2019) saw Bethany get a shock when a man she recognised from Nathan Curtis’s parties came into the Bistro with his wife and daughter.
Nathan groomed Bethany in 2017 along with other young underage girls.
While Bethany believed she was in a loving relationship with Nathan, he would charge his friends to sleep with her at his parties.

On Monday evening, an upset Bethany recognised the man, named Conrad, and quickly went out the back.
She explained to Daniel that whilst Conrad didn’t touch her, she saw him with other girls at the parties.
Bethany then begged Daniel not to say anything.
However, Daniel struggled to bite his tongue as he approached the man, and he poured Gazpacho over him before outing him in front of his family calling him a “creep.”
He outright said Conrad had been abusing young girls with Nathan Curtis. Conrad’s wife Belinda immediately believed Daniel and told Conrad she knew he was lying when he was seeing Nathan all the time.
Bethany soon saw the commotion and when Conrad saw Bethany, it was obvious he recognised her.
As the family stormed out arguing, Belinda and their daughter got in the car and Conrad stood in front of the car so he could explain.
As Bethany waited outside the Bistro in tears, she went to walk off as Belinda put her car in reverse to get away from her husband.
Luckily Craig was walking by and managed to push Bethany out of the way and save her from being hit. Unfortunately for Craig, he was hit instead.

Craig was taken to hospital by ambulance where it looked like he survived the knock.
Viewers know Craig was there for Bethany when the truth about Nathan came out.
Nathan was eventually found guilty and sent to prison along with police officer Neil Clifton, and Ian, who also attended the parties and abused young girls.
Last year, Bethany was kidnapped by Neil’s daughter Kayla as she didn’t believe Bethany, but soon found out the truth when Craig played her a recording of Neil admitting what he did.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
