In last night’s episode of Coronation Street (March 31) viewers were left laughing after Beth did an impression of Claudia.
Sinead and Bertie came home from the hospital and Daniel threw a welcome home party for his wife and son, however things soon turned sour after Claudia’s present to the new parents exposed Beth making fun of the businesswoman.
Claudia arrived earlier and very obviously rubbed Beth the wrong way calling her homemade embroidered baby grow for Bertie “dirty baby clothes.”
As Daniel, Kirk and Steve got the baby monitor working the live recording of Beth changing Bertie’s nappy came up on the TV screen and she was doing an unflattering impression.
Beth said to baby Bertie :”And don’t take any notice of Claudia. There’s a state of the art monitor watching you.”
Imitating Claudia’s accent she went on to say: “Which beats anything anyone else has brought. Dirty baby clothes. Get me a drink someone and be sharp about it. Cosy little dump you’ve got that I don’t have to live in, we’ll go to a posh hotel next time.
“Well good luck to you Ken that’s all I can say, stuck with that piece of old mutton.”

When Beth returned to the room she realised she had been caught out. Claudia was further upset when Ken announced that he and Claudia were just good friends.
The salon entrepreneur confronted the factory worker saying: “Then let me enlighten you too, Beth.
“Far from being ‘not up to it’ as you say, I am up for anything that goes. There are weeks when I have to chase off more men than you have deep-fried chocolate bars or whatever it is that passes for food in your house.”

It appears Tracy, Sinead, Kirk and Steve weren’t the only ones amused by the drama.
Viewers loved the rivalry between Beth and Claudia.

Claudia’s mood soon changed when she and Ken became an official couple and Michelle joked that Ken needed to change his Facebook status.
