Coronation Street viewers are shocked after discovering Gemma Winter and Paul Foreman’s REAL first names.
In last night’s episode of Corrie (July 24 2019) Gemma and Paul’s mum Bernie showed up on the cobbles.
As she spoke to her daughter, who is expecting quads with Chesney Brown, she frequently referred to her as Gemini.

Her son Paul soon showed up, distraught that Bernie had shown her face.
When Paul asked what his mum was doing there she said to her son: “Hello Apollo.”
Paul replied saying “That’s not my name.”
Viewers were shocked to learn that Paul and Gemma weren’t their real names.

Bernie’s arrival definitely left Corrie viewers divided.
As Gemma wanted to let her mum borrow from the money that had been raised to help her and Ches with their quads for her rent payment Chesney put his foot down, although he then agreed to let Bernie come and stay at No.5 with him.
Things were soon made awkward for Chesney as he went to sleep on the sofa and Bernie offered to share the big bed with him instead.

Later this week the kebab shop worker is totally freaked out when Bernie is stark naked in his kitchen and suggests they spend the day in bed together.
Ches confides in Paul, who confronts his mum about causing trouble.
But while Paul might know what his mum is capable of, Gemma isn’t so wise to her scheming and when Bernie tells her that Chesney tried it on with her, she is fuming and confronts her ex!

Chesney is stunned that Gemma would believe her mum over him, and it takes Paul to have a word with his sister to make her realise what Bernie is up to.
Gemma decides the only way she can work out who is telling the truth is to move into No.5 herself and keep an eye on the pair.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
